Whether crafting a new home from the ground up or remodeling an existing structure, the Ketmar building process begins long before we ever set hammer to nail. Each project starts with incredible amount of planning and attention to detail. It’s a collaborative approach between owner and design team that marries creativity, functionality, budget and timeline.

Who is the design team?
Our team of experienced professionals help capture your vision. Marie Kenton captures the essence of the design, in order for the Architect to illustrate the floor plans and architectural elements. The Kitchen/Bath Designer plans food-preparation surfaces, cooking and storage areas, baths and laundry. Allyson Perdue helps you select compatible materials, colors, textures and finishes. Finally, the Landscaper ensures that outdoor living spaces and gardens compliment the architecture.
The planning process
The planning process is very visual and precise. Lots of notes are taken to ensure that as much of the "wish list" as possible is incorporated into the final design. Magazine pictures of preferred finishes, favorite furniture pieces and art treasures are defined and recorded to allow proper room proportions, placement and lighting. Samples are gathered and stored in your client cubby at our offices so that each time we get together, we have your vision at hand.
